The Caravan Darkroom Book is the culmination of a highly collaborative photography project in which photographer and facilitator Chris G Smith introduced young people in Hull and East Yorkshire to analogue photography.
During this project the young collaborators learnt how to use vintage box brownies, they learnt to develop their films using Caffenol and finally print their photos in a mobile darkroom.
The young collaborators were asked to photograph either their hopes and dreams or a message to the world.
